1. Where are you from?

I am originally from a small farm town, Stafford Springs, Connecticut where I was born and
raised. I moved to New Hampshire in 2010 for a little over 5 years with my (now) husband
before moving to Pooler in 2015. We both still have family in New England that we travel to visit
with often.

2. What is your academic background?

I graduated high school in 2004 and went immediately into my Associates’ degree program in
legal studies which I graduated from in early 2007. In 2013 I went back to school at Southern
New Hampshire University where I graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in
communications and marketing with a minor in social media marketing.

3. What is your fitness background?

I’ve always been an active individual since I was a kid. I’ve danced pretty much my entire life,
played youth basketball for a short period of time and even took up go-go dancing for a short
stint. In 2014, I leapt into the fitness industry with my decision to become a licensed a Zumba
Fitness Instructor. From there, I obtained my personal training certification in 2015, followed by
a certification in senior fitness, behavioral change and nutritional coaching (among many
others). I’ve always enjoyed working with people so it was a no brainer to make a career from
it!

4. Do you have any specialties in your fitness training?

I do! I hold a senior fitness specialty which has been a great aid while working with older active
adults and those people with ailments such as arthritis and chronic pain. I also hold certifications
to work with children and specialized fitness modality certifications including suspension
training, aqua aerobics and boxing.

5. What are some of your hobbies outside of training?

I do love to dance, but I also love photography! Before our move south, I was an active member
of a photography co-op in New Hampshire that worked closely with aspiring models and actors
looking to build photo portfolios. I was also a part-time night club photographer for a short
while. Outside of that, I enjoy wood engraving with my laser engraving machine and gardening.
6. What are some of your favorites? (i.e. food/drink/quote/ vacation?)
Rapid fire – my favorite food is pasta, lasagna to be specific with a close second being peanut
butter ice cream. My favorite drink is coffee (terrible I know, but it just tastes so good!). My
favorite quote comes from the movie Moulin Rouge – “The Greatest thing you’ll ever learn is
just to love and be loved in return.” And my favorite vacation, well that’s a tough one because
there are two that stick out – the year I went on my honeymoon to Honolulu, HI and the time I
went to Yellowstone National Park – both very cool places to visit and experience!
