Lauren Grout has a Bachelors in Exercise Science, is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Yoga Instructor and has been a part of the Savannah Sport and Wellness team for two years. She is an integral part of it’s success. You’ve probably seen her smiling face around the gym or heard her calling out “that’s perfect ” to her clients. Here’s a little more about Lauren and her fitness journey.
A note from Lauren
I didn’t appreciate fitness and cultivating a life of health until I was ready to make a change. In my late twenties, I was feeling failure on several fronts, and I was looking for a way to create moments of success. I began committing to fitness and a healthier lifestyle. The deeper my commitment to fitness grew, the stronger the results. I pulled myself up and out to a healthier state of body and mind.
Then, I made it my mission to create that same change in others. I began coursework in nutrition, and I became a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. Now, I consult on nutrition and general wellness, as well as host yoga and general fitness training to all ages, body types, and fitness goals. The positive effects of fitness are infectious. They disperse across your life, boosting mood and confidence, improving relationships with others, taking more risks, playing in the arena, and reaching new heights.

Lauren is the best coach ever! She creates challenging workouts to maximize the limited time I have at the gym. She knows which exercises I love and the ones I hate. She integrates them both into the routine. She is aware of my injuries, recognizes when I am uncomfortable and adapts the workout immediately. Most importantly she makes the session fun, is positive, and very encouraging.
The gym is extremely clean. The equipment is in excellent shape. The overall environment is welcoming and accepting!
