Katie Balthrop, MSSM, CSCS, RRCA
Katie, at her core, is an entrepreneur. While she started her career in a different field, she decided to pursue her passion for health and fitness. She opened a Fit4Mom franchise and later started her own fitness business while moving around the southeast with her family. After settling in Savannah, Katie founded Savannah Sport and Wellness in 2016. She routinely presents the benefits of strength and conditioning to local organizations including Fleet Feet, The Savannah Striders, and Healthy Savannah. She has also been a guest on the local podcast The Tortoise and the Hare.
Katie, a graduate of Notre Dame, completed her Masters of Science in Sports Medicine at Armstrong State University and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and running coach (RRCA). She is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Savannah.
As a small business owner, Katie understands that healthy, engaged employees drive the overall success of the company as well as the individuals.
